RevConnect (or DC ++) is an open source file transfer service that enables us to share our files with other people around the world. This application is based on Direct Connect, a free system that makes it possible to share files between any computers connected to a hub. We need to create a folder with all the content that we want to share. It is recommended that the size of this folder is more than 1GB, otherwise we will not be able to connect to most of the hubs. We can search for anything we like by entering a keyword. It is also possible to view the list of public hubs, view the hub location by country, the number of users connected to any hub, the hub's reliability and rating (if any), the minimum size required for sharing a folder, bookmark hubs and/or users, etc. The hubs can be free with/without previous registration, or private. Normally, the maximum shares are unlimited. After we connect to a hub, we can view all the current users and the general conversation. We can opt to send a general message or a private one, and search for a particular string. We can change the interface appearance and colors. Optionally, this application can notify with a sound when we receive a private message. There are also advanced settings for expert users.
